President

Beni Atoori has been an influential member of the independent film industry for over twenty-five years.  After graduating from the American Film Institute in 1993, Beni has been a major part on numerous successful films as everything from Director, to Producer and Writer. Atoori has developed a respectable collection of award-winning films such as “Thirteen Conversation About One Thing” starring Mathew McConaughey and Alan Arkin, as well as his most recent release, “The Last Movie Star”, starring the late, great, US cinema phenom, Burt Reynolds.

Atoori, the founder of Stonelock Pictures and Visionary Artists is anticipating that Wonderland Studios will become an entertainment hub that supports the independent film industry and the creators that work within.

Having secured $700MM+ in financing over the duration of his award winning career, veteran producer and industry heavy-weight Beni Atoori continues to be a trail blazer in both film and financial industries alike. Nominated by the U.S. State Department to represent the U.S. Embassy at the Sultanate of Oman’s Muscat Film Festival, devout philanthropist (with a personal donation of $1.5MM to the Baghdad Museum Project) Beni’s contribution to culture and the preservation of the arts far extends beyond the realm of just film. Head of Production

Atoori spent 12 years as President of Production and Development for Stonelock Pictures. She developed and produced number of film projects, ranging from micro-budgeted independent pictures to studio features. Amongst some of the projects in development include: The Story of Salvador Dalī, Mata Hari, Johnny Stompanato, Gilgamesh.

Atoori’s co-producing credits include, “The Jimmy Show”, starring Frank Whaley, Carla Gugino and Ethan Hawke, and “Thirteen Conversations About One Thing”, directed by Jill Sprecher and starring Matthew McConaughey, John Turturro, Amy Irving, Clea Duvall and Alan Arkin which was named the top 10 best films. The film traveled worldwide festivals earning many International awards and was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards.

Atoori spent 3 years in Istanbul Turkey working on location in pre-production on project entitled “Gilgamesh” during which time she ran entire production on foreign land with foreign lead actors as well as crew of over 400 which included Turkish local and foreign crew members. She returned to USA and produced a short film “Good God Bad Dog” starring Tom Sizemore, James Russo, Marisa Petroro. She also co-produced a feature film entitled “Chasing Happiness” starring Elisa Donovan, Kashmira Shah, and Cerina Vincent. Both films have been released.
